History: Johnny was born and raised in the College Park section of Atlanta, GA, right down the street from Morris Brown. He was the only son of Ann and Johnny Royal Sr. Things were good for the Royal family, they weren’t rich or anything but they managed to make do with what they had. Johnny swore to himself that he wouldn’t grow up to be in that situation so he tried to study hard to make it to college but his father was laid off from his job so after Johnny graduated, he joined a wrestling promotion by the name of the Extreme Wrestling Coalition.

He was the babyface of the federation and quickly rose to stardom. He made sure to send a good portion of all his checks home at first but the stardom started going to his head and he started hanging out with the wrong crowds and one night in a drunken and drug filled haze, Bradley, one of Johnny’s wrestling mates, injected a disease into Johnny’s blood that made him like a vampire where he craved the iron and other nutrients from raw meat and blood to replace the nutrients in his own body.

This led Johnny down a sick and twisted path until finally unable to take it anymore, he went to a hospital and they sent him to a special hospice that somehow found a way to neutralize the disease in his system. Since then, Johnny worked dead end job after dead end job and that’s where he met Tamika. She believed in him when even his parents had given up.

She gave Johnny back the confidence that he had lost and convinced him that he must give the beast that beat him a second go round. Johnny trained and trained and finally one promotion by the name of WeWA decided to give him a chance. Johnny once again came face to face with his disease which led him down a tumultuous road once again. He was able to bring himself back though and quickly rose to fame until the doors of the WeWA closed.

Johnny found a new beginning in Ricochet Wrestling which was a member federation of the NeWA (National e Wrestling Association).  Many of the members of the WeWA had made the switch including Michael "Snake Eyes" Cavenaugh, Joshua Sullivan, Kai Kennedy and Mimic.  The feuds that were born in the WeWA were continued but Johnny was able to capture the Ricochet Title from Mimic only to lose it again.  He was able to recapture the title but only lost it to Snake Eyes.  Many other feuds were born and titles came into the grasp of the man that became known as "The People's Hero" but his past always seemed to find a way to haunt his present. It has now come back in full force as in August of 2007 he became a father but his girlfriend of many years passed away.  Johnny of course feels guilty about this but has never really had the time to mourn as his daughter was kidnapped and dissappeared for many months.

Johnny was in the pit of despair and even contemplated suicide but now it is revealed that none other than fellow RPW wrestler Ezekiel has kidnapped her.  Johnny eventually won her back and went on to win the RPW World Title and still holds it to this day as he was the champion when RPW had to close it's doors due to financial reasons.
