Peach State Wrestling gets a taste of Metal

After many contract negotiations, Peach State Wrestling has signed a promising young upstart in the form of Griffin Hawkins. Anyone who's familiar with him knows he has the tools to become a huge superstar.

"Not to toot my own horn, but I have complete faith in my abilities to become the next big thing here in Peach State Wrestling. I have won gold in every organization I have been to, and it won't be long till I have it around my waist here in this federation."

Some say he is being haughty while others say he is confident. Whatever the case, on many occasions he has proven himself by beating the best the business has to offer. But the question is can he stand up to the superstars of Peach State?

"Listen dude, I don't believe in giving myself nicknames. I never called myself "The Chosen One" or "The People's Choice" or any other nickname I've heard around here. I believe in going out there and kicking ass and showing all the ignorant sheep out there who really is the best. That's what I've always done, and that's what I'll continue to do."

While its true that he has proven himself, is he really being cocky or confident? People have said he has the ego the size of Paris Hilton's Shoe Closet. When we asked if he was being cocky, he just laughed.

"Are you guys on something? Look at all that I have accomplished. I didn't get down and kiss anyone's ass, I earned everything in my career, so I deserve to be cocky. If you looked like me and done what I have done, you'd be cocky too."

There is no doubt Griffin Hawkins is athletically gifted. But some don't like his attitude. He hasn't really endeared himself to the fans at some recent autograph signings.

"I'm not here to win popularity contests. I'm not here to kiss babies and help old ladies across the street like Kidd Kaboom or Dixie Leigh do. You can either boo me or cheer me, it makes no difference as long as you pay to see me. I cause controversy everywhere I go, as long as someone talks about me, that's all that matters. And if I break the rules, who cares? Rules don't apply to me, they are merely suggestions."

What does the future hold for Griffin Hawkins?

"The best part about all this is that I decided my own fate. Nobody controls me, thats the legacy Griffin F'N Hawkins. I do whatever the hell I want, when I want to. I will not allow anyone to dictate my destiny. And I guarantee you and everyone out there that Peach State Wrestling will never be the same again!"
