Galveston, Texas - Curtis Durrington, professional wrestler, has agreed to join Peach State Wrestling on a per-appearance agreement. The seven year veteran, with a rising star amongst the independent ranks, is a former Cruiser-X Champion in the Blazenwing Wrestling Federation. The twenty-six year old Daphne, Alabama native does not have a specific starting date set with Peach State Wrestling as of August 20, 2011.
A respected technical wrestler, Durrington has worked throughout the United States, most recently in Galveston, Texas with Galveston Island Wrestling and Santa Barabra, California with Pacific Championship Wrestling. The five foot, nine inch tall "Big Country" has also worked professionally under the moniker "Freebird" Curtis Lowe while a member of World Pro Wrestling.
Durrington provided the following comments in regards to his working agreement with Peach State Wrestling: "Its an exciting time for me, without question. I am pleased to be working with Galveston Island Wrestling and now Peach State Wrestling", stated Durrington, "Peach State has a tremendous fan following there in Georgia and have put together an impressive list of performers. I hope I can provide some excitment and entertainment to the organization and the fan base". Durrington continued, stating "I am blessed to be doing what I do for a living and I look forward to continued success with Peach State".
