Magnum Randell pulls out of Uprising

As mentioned on our news feed today, it was announced that with Peach State's recent departure from the National Wrestling Alliance that NWA World Heavyweight Champion Magnum Randell has opted not to compete against Kidd Kaboom at Uprising or appear at Summerfest, where he was scheduled to sign autographs for the fans.

While he chose not to make an official statement, Peach State owner, Jody Wilson said that he did not blame Magnum for his decision.

"He's a stand up guy. This is an unusual circumstances, and I don't blame him for his decision. He's got a bright future ahead of him in the wrestling business and right now he's on top of the world as NWA Champion. If I were him, I wouldn't do anything to jeapordize that position either. Magnum vs. Kaboom would have been a spectacular match, and it still may happen in the future, but it's not the right political environment for it to happen at the moment. The door will always be open for him to wrestle in Peach State for him to come in and face anyone he wants, and I hope one day, he will take us up on that offer."

No word on who will replace Magnum as Kidd Kaboom's opponent, but Jody is working on one that maybe just as big of a name as Randell is. More on Kidd Kaboom's opponent as we learn more.
