Catching up with Curtis...

A tremendously successful Fall Fight is in the books. Peach State newcomer Curtis Durrington took time to speak with Peach State Wrestling soon after the final bell of Fall Fight. Packing up his bag for a trip to Galveston and an upcoming Galveston Island Wrestling show, Durrington made his intentions pretty clear in Peach State Wrestling.

“The goal is to be as successful as possible”, Durrington claimed as he filled his travel bag, “I saw some very impressive performances out there tonight. Unfortunately, I saw a few that left something to be desired”. When pressed, “Big Country” lambasted Peach State wrestler Griffin Hawkins, saying “I hate guys like him that feed the hype machine, yet fail miserably when it comes time to put up or shut up”. Curtis would continue in regard to Hawkins, “the kid doesn’t win his match after a months worth of talk, gets his head handed to him by that beast Brute, then gets back here and starts all the gibberish over again”. “His wrestling and hair care philosophies are pretty much the same”, Durrington would add, “its pretty much just rinse and repeat”.

We were also able to get in a few questions about the next Peach State show Halloweve. When asked about the possibility of participating in a match for the tag team titles following the random draw, Durrington made it clear he’d be thrilled for such an opportunity. “I think it’d be a great opportunity”, stated “Big Country”, “I think Peach State has a tremendous plan in place to keep the tag team division up and running and interesting at all times”. When asked if he’d have any partner preference, “Anybody but Griffin Hawkins” was the answer Durrington responded with.

“I was very impressed by Brute Svenson and Tara Michael-Davidson tonight”, Durrington continued, “Chris Jacobs and August Joyce put on a great show, too”. Durrington cut us off before we could add any questions, as he had to reach the airport for a flight back to Texas. He was schedule to compete for the GIW Television Championship on Sunday.
