No Resolutions Results (Saturday, June 2, 2012)

What a perfect night for wrestling? The outdoor venue here is absolutely wonderful. And we could not ask for better weather here in Stone Mountain. Truth be told, it's actually a little chilly outside tonight, but things are going to heat up real fast, as tonight's action is off the chain!

Do people still say off the chain?

Oh well, it doesn't matter, because it's going to be great. And I can't wait to share with you what will happen next month, because it might be the biggest thing we've ever had happen here in Peach State Wrestling, but that will have to wait until the end of the show, because the action is ready to begin.

"Ok, time for Plan B" by Enter Shikari begins to play and out comes "The People's Choice" August Joyce. Joyce is coming down with a serious look on his face. After being attacked from behind at Cinco de Mayo by Fox Industries wrestler, "Slim" Coakley, he's had one thing on his mind, and it's not just beating "Slim", but it's also getting his hands on the man who orchestrated the whole thing, Kevin Fox.

OK, maybe that's two things on his mind.

The crowd is behind Joyce as he climbs into the ring. He raises his hands to the crowd, before going toward his corner, waiting for his opponent.

"Grounds for Divorce" by Elbow begins to play as Kevin Fox steps from the entrance first, and the crowd immediately boos. Kevin Fox feigns shock and hurt, but then turns, toward the entrance as the large "Slim" Coakley steps out. He wears simple cut-off jeans along with a white Nike hoodie. He doesn't seem to notice the crowd booing him, as he looks down as he heads to the ring. Kevin climbs to the apron, and reaches into his suit jacket, pulling out a folded up piece of paper. He waves it at August and says something to him. August looks at him, and then looks down, but he doesn't give an answer.

There's no question in my mind that August's answer will be no. There's no way that he will work with a guy like Kevin Fox. No way whatsoever.

Fox drops off the apron, as "Slim" takes off his hoodie and drops it to the ground, before turning his attention back to August, who is ready for him. John Empires calls for the bell, and the match begins. Immediately, August rushes across the ring, hammering Slim with a forearm, knocking him back into the corner. August nails him again and again, before Slim grabs him, and turns, throwing August into the corner.

Slim hammers him with a right and a left body shot, before he takes him and sends him to the other side of the ring. August slams into the corner and rebounds out of it. Slim goes for a clothesline, but August ducks it. Slim turns around, and August grabs him, and lifts him up, putting him down with a belly to belly suplex. August goes for a cover, but Slim kicks out before Empires can get down to make the count.

August gets up, but Slim gets up right behind him. August goes to lock-up, but as soon as he does, Slim throws him backwards into the ropes. August tries to rebound, but Slim catches him, and throws him up into the air and then down with a powerful hiptoss. Slim stomps down on August's side, before kicking him in his lower back.

Slim bends down, and grabs August, lifting him to his feet. He drives him backwards with a huge open handed chop across his chest. August winces from the chop. Slim grabs him with both hands, lifts him up, turns, and throws him down. August slams on his back, and Slim drops down to cover, but August kicks out at one. Slim shakes his head, and bends down, picking August up. He nails him with another open handed chop, but August comes back, grabbing ahold of Slim's head, and drops down with a jawbreaker.

Slim stumbles backwards, holding his head, trying to shake off the move. August drops down, nailing a chop block that forces Slim to one knee. August rushes to the ropes, and comes back, catching Slim with a rolling neckbreaker. Slim goes down, holding his head, and August jumps up, coming down with a knee drop into Slim's head. Slim rolls away, getting to the ropes. August starts to lift Slim up, but as he does so, Slim nails him with an uppercut. August stumbles away.

Slim shakes his head, and then jumps up, driving a boot into August's head. August crashes to the mat from impact, holding his head. Slim walks over to August, bending down, lifting him up by his hair. He then lifts him up, spinning him around, and dropping him down with a sidewalk slam.

Slim looks down at August then over at Fox. Fox holds out his thumb and points it downward. Slim nods, and then, rather than trying for a pinfall, he lifts August up, and drags him over to the corner. He lifts him up and places him on the top rope. He climbs to the middle rope, and then starts to lift August up, but in midlift, August drives an elbow into Slim's head. Slim is rocked. August drives another elbow and another elbow and Slim is staggered on the turnbuckle.

August then drives another and another, and Slim almost falls, but August doesn't let him. August grabs him, and nails him with a downward right hand. Slim once again almost falls, but August doesn't let him. He has ahold of Slim's head, but then Slim drives his head straight into August's gut. August winces, and then Slim grabs him, but as he does, August flips over Slim, off the top rope. He lands on his feet behind Slim, and then reaches backwards, grabbing him. Slim has nothing to grab on to, as August brings him over, powerbombing him hard onto the mat.

Slim is laid out, and August covers, hooking the leg, and Empires is there to give a three count. August is the winner.

The crowd cheers as August gets back to his feet, holding his arms, but then the crowd gets quiet, as Kevin Fox climbs into the ring. He is clapping for August, not upset that his own Slim Coakley lost. He reaches in for the piece of paper again, and August extends his hand for it. The crowd doesn't know what is going on, and quite frankly, neither do I. There's no way that August would sign with this guy.

August looks at the contract and nods his head toward Fox, who smiles, reaching into his pocket again and handing August a pen. August smiles in Fox's direction, and then looks around, like he can't sign it anywhere. Fox holds up his hand, and then tells Slim to get to his feet. Slim slowly does so, still staggered from the brunt of that powerbomb. Fox tells him to turn around, and Fox tells August to sign on his back.

August points out how sweaty Slim is, so Fox takes off his jacket and lays it on Slim's back. August smiles, and then places the contract on Slim's back. Fox smiles and says something to the crowd, but when he turns back to the signing, he walks straight into a huge right hand from August.

The crowd goes wild as Fox is knocked on his ass. Slim starts to turn around, but August grabs the coat, wraps it over his head, and then pulls on it, sending Slim straight out of the ring. Slim crashes to the floor, as August turns back to Fox, who is laid out on the mat. August stands over him and rips up the contract, before leaving the ring.

I said there was no way of August signing the contract and I was right. August beat Slim and took down Fox, but with Fox Industries just getting their start here in Peach State, I have a bad feeling that this is far from over between the two sides.

This is our first time here at Stone Mountain, but if this crowd is any indication of what it's like to come to Stone Mountain, then I say we make this our permanent home. We have 560 attending tonight, which makes this our most successful night we've ever had.

And the interesting thing is, we might very well top that next month, but once again, I can't tell you about it until later, or Jody might just kill me if I reveal it too soon.

"Walk" by Foo Fighters begins to play and the crowd gets on their feet as one half of the tag team champions, The Dirty South, "The People's Hero" Johnny Royal. Royal comes out, the belt around his waist. He slaps the hands of as many fans as he can as he makes it to the ring, before climbing into it and then climbing the top rope to raise his fists and his belt to the fans.

Last month saw Johnny Royal and Dixie Leigh, the self-proclaimed tag team, The Dirty South, become the new tag team champions, beating Blaine Harrison and Mr. Krinkle. It was the best tag team match Peach State has witnessed, and one of the best I've ever seen...anywhere...that didn't involve a table, a ladder, or a chair!

"Let's See Action" by The Who plays and the crowd stays on their feet for Blaine Harrison as he makes his way to the ring. He makes a point to slap some of the hands of the fans, but not all of them. He climbs into the ring and nods across the ring at Royal, who nods back.

The two of them don't necessarily like or dislike each other, but both of them respect the other as far as ability, and the exchange the two of them had at Cinco de Mayo was just a thing of beauty. I can't wait to see what they are going to bring tonight.

Empires calls for the bell and the match has begun. Royal and Blaine lock-up, and Blaine gets the advantage with a headlock, but as soon as he does, Royal wraps his arms around his waist, he lifts him up for a back drop, but in mid-air, Blaine flips over the top of him, landing on his feet. He wraps his arms around Royal's waist, pushing him forward into the ropes, trying to roll him up, but Royal grabs onto the ropes, and Blaine falls backwards, rolling up to his feet. Royal turns, charging Blaine, catching him around his waist, lifting him up, and taking him down to the mat.

That was an MMA style take down. Royal drops down with an elbow across Blaine's head. The blow stuns Blaine for a second, but then he reaches up his feet, wrapping them around Royal's arm, and flipping him over, putting Royal's shoulders to the mat. He gets a quick one count, but Royal kicks out, turning and getting back to his feet. Blaine also gets back to his feet, and the two stand facing each other once again, as the fans clap.

The two lock-up again, and this time, Royal gets the advantage with a headlock, which is quickly reversed into an arm wrench by Blaine, which is reversed by Royal into a hammerlock. Blaine twists out of it and drives a side kick into Royal's stomach. Royal doubles over, and Blaine immediately grabs his head and neck, and flips over with a neckbreaker. Royal goes down, holding his neck, and Blaine covers.

He gets a one count as Royal kicks out. Blaine gets back to his feet, waiting a second for Royal to get to one knee, and then Blaine rushes him, driving a knee into the side of Royal's head. Royal goes down again, and Blaine covers.

This time he gets a two before Royal kicks out. Blaine is back on his feet, this time lifting Royal up. He pushes him into the ropes, and sends him hard to the otherside. Royal rebounds, and Blaine goes for a back body drop, but Royal stops short of it, and nails him with a toe kick. Blaine shoots up, and Royal rushes forward, catching him with a clothesline that takes him to the mat.

As soon as Blaine is down, Royal leaps up into the air, and comes down with a leg drop across Blaine's chest. Blaine grabs his chest in pain, but Royal pushes it away and covers, hooking his leg, but only is able to get a one count as Blaine kicks out. Royal gets back to his feet, and lifts Blaine's arm up, before dropping straight down on it with his knee. Blaine pulls it away, holding it, as Royal gets back to his feet again. He grabs Blaine's arm, and lifts him up by it. He lifts it up, and nearly pulls it out of its socket when he jerks it down.

Blaine goes to one knee, as Royal pulls him up again, and this time twists it with an arm bar. Blaine slaps his arm, trying to make the pain go away, but as he does, Royal drives a side kick into his gut, doubling him over. Royal twists the arm again, and Blaine flips over, to keep his arm from breaking, landing on his back. As he does so, Royal leaps up and brings a leg drop down across Blaine's arm.

Royal is showing a different side than he showed in the tag match. He showed a high flying aspect of himself, but now, he's showing his technical skills, and I think it might be throwing Blaine, who was expecting the high flyer.

Royal locks on an arm lock, wrenching Blaine's arm backwards. Blaine struggles, but is able to get to the ropes. Empires doesn't even need to make a one count before Royal lets go. He backs away, allowing Blaine to get back to his feet. Blaine shakes his arm, trying to put feeling back in it that isn't pain. Royal gives him his space, and when Blaine looks ready, the two move toward each other again, but as Royal goes for a tie-up, Blaine drives a kick into the incoming Royal. Royal doubles over, and as soon as he does, Blaine grabs both of Royal's arms, and lifts him up, taking him over with a butterfly suplex. However, the damage that Royal did to Blaine's arm is evident, as Blaine immediately comes up, holding his arm. Royal holds his back from impact.

Blaine walks over, lifting Royal up with his good arm, but as soon as Royal is up, Blaine grabs Royal, and drops him backwards with an reversed Russian leg sweep, that takes Royal's head into the mat. Blaine rolls him over and goes for a cover. He gets a two count, but Royal gets a shoulder up. Blaine gets up, grabbing Royal and lifting him to his feet. Blaine grabs ahold of Royal and then lifts him up in a jerking reaction, sending him over his head with a big over head belly to belly suplex.

Royal crashes to the mat, rolling to his side. Blaine gets back up and walks over to Royal. He goes to lift him up again, but Royal comes out of nowhere with a small package. Empires is taken off guard, but drops to make the count, and he almost gets a three count, but Blaine is able to kick out at the last moment.

Blaine quickly gets back to his feet, as Royal tries to get to his feet as well. Blaine kicks him hard, taking him down, and showing his frustration. Blaine bends down, lifting Royal up, but Royal nails him with a right hand as he's brought to his feet. Blaine drives a knee into his gut in retaliation, and once again Royal is doubled over. Blaine nails him with a knife edge chop. Royal falls back into the corner. Once again, Blaine brings a knee into Royal's gut, following it up with another chop. He grabs his hand and goes to send him to the otherside with an Irish whip, but in mid whip, Royal reverses it, sending Blaine into the corner instead.

Blaine hits the corner hard, and Royal comes in, but as he does it, Blaine spins out of the corner. Royal sees it coming and jumps up, catching the middle turnbuckle, and flipping over. Blaine turns, as he sees Royal complete the step-up moonsault, and comes crashing down on top of him. Both men go down, but it is Blaine with his shoulders to the mat.

One, two...but not three, as Blaine gets a shoulder up at the last possible second. Royal slowly gets back to his feet, trying to shake off Blaine's offense. Blaine is not far off, as he rolls away from Royal, also trying to get to his feet. Royal sees Blaine, with his back turned, and drops down in the attack position. He's going for the move that stopped Krinkle from getting his hands on Dixie.

Blaine turns around and Royal strikes, taking Blaine down with a huge spear. Blaine is folded in half as he is slammed backwards into the mat. Royal jumps up, adrenaline pumping through his body as the crowd is on their feet. Royal almost goes for the cover right then, but shakes his head. He makes his way over to the top rope and begins to climb it. He turns on the top turnbuckle and measures his opponent. The crowd is on their feet, cameras flashing. Royal leaps off the top rope, flipping in mid-air, before coming straight down with a near perfect shooting star press.

I say near perfect, because the only thing wrong was that Blaine rolled out of the way at the last second!

Royal crashed onto the empty mat and bounces hard, before landing on his side, the look of pain evident on his face as he reels from the crash and burn.

But Blaine is still down too. He might have found the energy to move out of the way, but he is still not recovered from that spear. He begins to move around, and begins to use the ropes to pull himself up to his feet. Blaine stands tall on his feet, before falling backwards into the ropes, almost dropping to the mat again. He makes his way over to Royal, bending down to lift him up. He holds free hand up, as the crowd is once again on their feet. He grabs Royal in a suplex position, but then turns him closer to the ropes. He plans to end it right here.

Blaine lifts Royal up with a suplex, but then drops him over the top rope, almost springboarding him up, going for the Metal Heart Suplex, but then something happened, as Blaine uses the momentum to lift Royal into the air, Royal somehow manages to wrap his arm around Blaine's head, and turns, forcing Blaine to turn with him, and the Metal Heart Suplex is overtaken by a version of the Royal Flush, as Royal drops down, bringing Blaine's head with him, sending it smashing into the mat.

Blaine's body stands straight up in the air, head first, before collapsing over on itself, and Royal rolls over, laying an arm across Blaine's chest. Empires drops down. Counts one. Counts two. Counts three. Royal did it. He beat Blaine Harrison in a very impressive match from both men.

Royal doesn't jump for joy, as he is exhausted, but he manages to pull himself to his feet using the ropes, and raises his hands to the ropes. In the center of the ring, Blaine slowly starts to stir, rolling over to the ropes. He looks up from the downward position toward Royal, disappointment in his eyes, but Royal looks back with respect, nodding toward him. Blaine doesn't acknowledge it for a second, but then nods back, before rolling out of the ring, letting Royal have the moment.

After that match, I know I'm not the only one that can't wait to see those two face each other again. The two have a great respect for each other, but more than that, they put on one hell of a match. And Royal may have come out the victor this time around, but I think with these two competitors, it could very well be a flip of a coin on who walks out the winner each time they face off against each other.

Royal eventually leaves the ring, and we were ready for the next match. Out of the all the matches tonight, this match is the one I'm not sure what to think of. Everything else I was excited to see, but this one...I just don't know. Jody is giving the fans what they want to see, but when it comes to Dixie Leigh and Mr. Krinkle, there's more to the story than just a feud. Dixie is genuinely terrified of Krinkle. What Krinkle has been doing toward Dixie goes way beyond trying to get into someone's head. It's just down right creepy.

And add to the fact that Krinkle seems to be developing a following of other clowns with him, that's even creepier still. For those that didn't read, Krinkle wrestled at another show in Alabama and debuted two other clowns as part of his insane clown posse. I really hope they aren't going to be here tonight, but as strange as Krinkle is, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

"Here For the Party" by Gretchen Wilson begins to play and the crowd is immediately on their feet, as Dixie Leigh steps through the entrance, her half of the Peach State Tag Team Championship over her shoulder. She grabs it and holds it up in the air. There have been tons of people that have said that Dixie would never hold a title here in Peach State, dating all the way back from her debut, but that title right there proves otherwise. Dixie has returned to Peach State Wrestling with a fire like never before, and before the year's out, it would not surprise me if that tag title isn't the only gold she has in her possession.

Dixie climbs into the ring and once again holds the gold up to the crowd, who cheer her even louder. Dixie hands the title over to Natalie, who puts it in a safe place. Dixie then gets serious, dropping in the corner, staring at the entrance, ready for literally the biggest challenger of her career.

"Mr. Krinkle" by Primus begins to play, but Mr. Krinkle is not the person who comes out. First one clown midget, then another, then another come out from the entrance. One after another they come out, until twenty are surrounding the ring. Dixie looks around, obviously not happy about this. Empires doesn't look too happy about it either and he yells at them that they don't belong there. While Empires is yelling at the midgets, the two clowns that I was referring to earlier step from the entrance, flanking the entrance. One is average size, very athletic, while the other one is huge...as big as Brute, maybe even bigger. Dixie decides the midgets aren't the problem, and focuses her attention back to the entrance, as Mr. Krinkle steps from the entrance, a wicked smile on his face.

The crowd has always enjoyed Krinkle's antics and have supported him, but not even they know how to react to all of this out there now. Krinkle walks slowly to the ring, as the other two trail behind him, staying on the outside of the ring.

I've never been the biggest Krinkle fan. Clowns have always creeped me out, but I've always thought that maybe, just maybe that all of his crazy antics were just that...antics. That he wasn't as crazy as he tries to let people think he is. And what he's doing right now. All the stuff with Dixie...the organization that has gone in to this right here...I'm starting to think I'm right, because a crazy person couldn't do something like this.

Dixie is obviously scared as Krinkle climbs into the ring, but she is trying not to show it. She made up her mind after the tag match that she wouldn't let Krinkle get in her head again, but this isn't just Krinkle. She is literally surrounded by clowns here, and their ring leader is only a few feet in front of her, smiling at her.

Empires takes one last look at the midgets and motions for the match to begin. As soon as the bell rings, one of the midgets jumps up on the apron behind Dixie. Dixie quickly turns around, but as soon as she does, Krinkle rushes behind her, and clubs her in the back of the head with a huge forearm. Dixie drops to a knee, holding the back of her head. Empires yells at Krinkle for the midget, and Krinkle smiles at him, before grabbing him and headbutting him.

The crowd is shocked as Empires falls backwards into the ropes. Krinkle turns his attention back to Dixie, who has gotten back to her feet, and nails him with a quick thrust to his throat. Krinkle is stunned, and takes a step back, as two more midgets jump up and start to climb into the ring. Dixie rushes them, connecting with both of them a double clothesline, sending them to the mat. She turns, walking straight into a huge boot from Krinkle. Dixie slams into the mat, just as the bell rings.

Krinkle turns, just in time to see Empires club him with a right hand. Krinkle stumbles backwards, as Empires hits him again, pissed that Krinkle attacked him for no reason. Empires rears back, but his arm is yanked backwards by the large clown. Empires looks at him, and for a split second, Empires seems to recognize him, but before he can say or do anything, the big clown wraps his hand around Empires throat, lifts him up, and plants him over the top rope with a choke slam. Empires crashes to the concrete hard.

Dixie tries to get to her feet, but the other clown stops her, kicking her feet out from under her. As soon as Dixie is back on the ground, Krinkle leaps up into the air, and comes straight down with a splash on top of her. Krinkle lays on her, pressing his forearm into her face, as the crowd boos. He smiles at them, not caring what they do.

Suddenly, the crowd cheers as Johnny Royal rushes from the back, full speed. He slides into the ring, and immediately attacks everything that moves. First he nails the other clown, hitting him with a huge clothesline taking him down. He turns, walking right into a right hand from the huge clown. Royal is literally knocked back into the corner. The big clown raises his arms up and rushes Royal, but Royal ducks out of the way. The clown slams into the corner and turns around, just as Royal leaps up and connects with a dropkick.

But as Royal gets back up, he is nailed from behind by a huge forearm by Krinkle. Royal goes down, holding his head. Then the crowd cheers again, but it is short lived as they realize who is running out. Blaine Harrison, Mr. Krinkle's tag team partner, is coming to the ring. Blaine slides into the ring, but isn't there to fight. He's asking Krinkle what the hell is all of this. Krinkle's smile drop as he looks at Blaine. Suddenly, the smaller clown tries to hit Blaine from behind, but Krinkle pushes Blaine out of the way. The clown almost hits Krinkle, but pulls back just in time. Krinkle's smile changes to anger, staring at the clown. The clown takes a step back. Blaine nods, seeing Krinkle is coming to his senses. Krinkle turns toward him, and then smiles.

Blaine smiles back.

Then Krinkle kicks Blaine hard in his gut, before lifting him up, only to slam him straight down onto the mat with an Alabama slam type maneuver. The crowd boos loudly, as Blaine rolls on the mat, holding his head. Krinkle stands over the carnage, as Dixie, Royal, and Blaine are all laid out in the ring, while Empires is laid out outside of the ring. The crowd is booing loudly, as this clown posse finally leaves the ring.

I don't know what we just saw, but it might have been something worse than anything we've ever seen before. Krinkle and his band of misfit clowns literally just took down three of our top stars here in Peach State Wrestling and John Empires. The attacking of the wrestlers comes with the territory, but I know for a fact that Jody has a problem when people put their hands on referees.

And on top of that, Krinkle just pissed off three people, and he might not be glad he did.

Thankfully, after what we just saw, we were at intermission. It allowed me to stretch my legs, pick-up a funnel cake and drink from concessions, and then mosey back to my little hidey hole. I have to once again talk about how perfect it is for us at Stone Mountain tonight. The weather is gorgeous. The crowd is awesome. This is just an overall great night for Peach State Wrestling, and we couldn't ask for a better show tonight. Both Joyce versus Coakley and Royal versus Harrison were awesome matches, and while it was never got off the ground before it turned into a win for Dixie by disqualification, it may have long lasting ramifications for Peach State Wrestling as far as Krinkle's new clown world order, because they just became enemy number one for a lot of people here in PSW.

Enough about the undercard though, because now we are eagerly awaiting the main event. It features Kit Kelsey defend the Peach State Championship against Nick "That Bastard" King. No, that's not his actual nickname, but it should be. I think people would by that T-shirt...if we sold T-shirts. Kelsey and King are a story, that's for sure. King let it be known he was coming after Kelsey after Breakaway for that title, and unfortunately, he did it by attacking Kelsey's friend, Brute Svensen. Kelsey is looking for some major payback against King, but there's a lot more to the story, because Jody threw a monkey wrench into everything as he has brought back Matt Reynolds.

Reynolds first joined Peach State Wrestling as a trainer and referee for Jody's wrestling school, training among others, Kid Kaboom, now Nick King. Reynolds had been injured from well before he joined Peach State, which is what kept him from wrestling. Then he got the all clear to wrestle again, and wanted one last run before he retired for good. He got that one last run, and a chance to achieve something few men can say...a chance to not only win an Irish Battle Royal, but also win the Peach State Championship.

However, it didn't happen, because at Breakaway, literally an hour before the show was set to begin, he was viciously attacked in the parking lot by someone we would later find out was Nick King. However, it backfired on King, as Kit Kelsey, Brute Svenson's manager, volunteered to be the tenth man in the competition. Also having dreams of his own, coming back off of injury himself, it was Kelsey who achieved the impossible, pinning Griffin Hawkins to become the new Peach State Champion.

And now Matt Reynolds, the man that King attacked to keep him out of Breakaway, is back to referee this championship match, and the million dollar question is whether he will be fair and impartial, or will he try to screw King out of this title shot?

"King Nothing" by Metallica plays as Nick King steps from the entrance. The crowd instantly boos him. King loves the crowd though. So much so that he decides to yell at them and flip them off every chance he gets coming down to the ring.

The man's a giver, I'll tell you that.

He climbs into the ring and gets the mic from Natalie, because what would a Peach State Wrestling event be like without another message from Nick King. The guy really should be a preacher with his words of motivation. He talks about how he's not going to insult the fans, despite the evidence of him coming to the ring to the contrary. He says he's going to win the title for the third time, because for those of you who don't remember that far back, he has been champion before...it was just a really long time ago. He talks about how he's sick and demented...something we all can agree on...although after what we just saw not too long ago, Krinkle may have him beat on that one now. And he talks about turning someone into a butterfly.

Yeah, I didn't get it either.

He handed the mic back to Natalie, and despite the fact that he still is obviously full of himself, it wasn't the typical...I hate you all promo from him. Maybe he's growing as a person?

Yes, it was hard for me to type that with a straight face.

King leans back in the corner, waiting for Kelsey to come out, but he's apparently forgotten one key ingredient in this match, because out comes Matt Reynolds. Reynolds looks a lot different than the last time I saw him, because it's been a few months since I've talked to him. He looks like he needs a shave and a haircut. And most of all, he looks tired. I'm not sure what's up, but I honestly don't know what Jody was thinking about putting Reynolds to referee this match. I don't care what King has said in the last few weeks, but Jody will never outright try to screw someone. It doesn't matter if he likes someone or not, he likes for the chips to fall where they fall, so this is a little out of characteristic for Jody, but then again, he's also loyal to his friends. If Reynolds asked for this, then Jody might just let him...just to see what would happen.

Reynolds climbs into the ring, not making eye contact with King. However, King doesn't leave it be. He walks right over to Reynolds, putting his finger in his face, to which Reynolds immediately pushes his hand away. King smiles and says something to Reynolds. Reynolds tells him to get back to his corner. The crowd loves it, as King walks back to the corner, a cocky smile across his face, letting people know he's doing it because he wants to, not because he's being told to.

Then again, it's also because King knows if he pushes his luck, his chance for the title will be over tonight.

"Thunderstruck" by AC/DC blares over the loudspeaker and out comes Kit Kelsey. The crowd cheers loudly as Kit Kelsey, the Peach State Champion, steps from the entrance. He raises his hands, and then pats the championship belt around his waist. He slowly makes his way to the ring, slapping the hands of several of the fans on his way. He uses the steps to climb into the ring, and stands on the apron for a moment, looking at first Nick King, but then looking at Reynolds, and I don't really blame him for being cautious. If Reynolds is looking for revenge tonight, he might not care if Kelsey gets in his way.

Kelsey climbs into the ring, and slowly takes off the title. He holds it up to the fans and then to King, before handing it over to Reynolds. Reynolds literally snatches it, and motions for the match to begin, before throwing the belt outside the ring. Kelsey stares at him, and then King charges him while his attention is away.

King nails him with a forearm, knocking Kelsey back into the corner, while Reynolds actually leaves the ring. I have no idea what's going on here, because Reynolds just grabbed a chair and is now sitting at ringside instead of reffing this match. I guess he plans on letting this match be no disqualification.

King hammers the smaller Kelsey with forearm after forearm in the corner. He takes him and whips him to the otherside. Kelsey slams into the turnbuckles, and King follows him in, running in for a splash in the corner, but Kelsey moves out of the way. King slams chest first into the corner and turns around. Kelsey hammers him with quick lefts and rights, stunning King, before grabbing him, and hiptossing him out of the corner. King slams into the mat, only to get right back up. He turns and walks right into a dropkick from Kelsey.

King goes down, and immediately rolls to the outside of the ring, not allowing Kelsey to keep his momentum. King takes a breath, and then turns back to the ring, only to see Kelsey fly through the ropes with a suicide dive. Kelsey crashes into King full speed. King goes flying backwards, nearly taking out people in the front row after the impact.

Kelsey slowly gets back to his feet, shaking off his own impact. He walks over to King, who is struggling to get up. He drives a kick straight into King's side, flipping him over to his back, before dropping down with an elbow drop. King winces from the blow, as he rolls to his side.

Kelsey gets back to his feet again, this time lifting King to his feet. Kelsey grabs King's arm and goes to whip him into the turnbuckle, but King reverses it. Kelsey slams hard into the turnbuckle by his shoulder before slamming to the floor.

King shakes his head, shaking off Kelsey's onslaught from earlier, before walking over to him. He bends down, lifting him up by his arm. He sees Kelsey trying to protect his shoulder, and King drives a fist straight into the shoulder that connected with the steel post. Kelsey lets out a cry of pain, as King takes the arm, and sends him shoulder first into the ring post again. Kelsey drops to one knee, holding his shoulder.

This match has gotten serious fast, especially with Reynolds seemingly ignoring all the rules to this match. I guess he plans on letting Kelsey do whatever he wants with King as a way to get revenge, but so far, his plan seems to be backfiring, despite Kelsey's great start in this match.

King grabs Kelsey again, pulling him to his feet, but as soon as he does, Kelsey nails King with a European uppercut. King takes a step backwards, and as soon as he does, swings wildly aiming for Kelsey's head, but Kelsey ducks it. King spins around, his back to Kelsey. Kelsey grabs him, lifting him up, and bringing him straight down with an atomic drop on the concrete. The impact jars King, as he stumbles away from Kelsey, holding his back, trying to maintain his balance.

Kelsey grabs ahold of the ropes, getting to the apron, and then he measures. King continues to move away, until he finally turns away, just as Kelsey runs along the apron, leaping into the air, and crashing down onto King with a crossbody block. King goes down, with Kelsey crashing down on top of him, before rolling off of him, getting right back to his feet. Kelsey doesn't slow down, as he rushes to the apron again, jumping up onto it, before flipping backwards, slamming down onto King with a moonsault.

If they were inside the ring, with a referee who was doing his job, Kelsey might be able to pick up a win right here, but right now, this match stays on the outside of the ring.

Kelsey gets to his feet, picking up King. Kelsey lets go of him, and King stumbles to one knee, before Kelsey picks him up again. This time, Kelsey takes King's head, turns, and slams him head first into the ring apron. King's head connects hard with the ring post, as he stumbles away several feet, before dropping to a knee. Kelsey follows him, and picks him up again, once again turning him, and slamming him head first into the ring post again.

This time, King drops to both knees, before falling to his stomach , holding his head. Kelsey lets him lay there, as he measures, and then leaps up into the air, coming straight down across King's head with a leg drop. King kicks his feet in pain, continuing to hold his head, trying for some manner of protection. Kelsey gets back to his feet, just as there's a clang in the ring.

While we were all paying attention to the action on one side of the ring, Reynolds took the chair he was sitting in and threw it into the ring, before grabbing another empty chair, also throwing it into the ring. Kelsey grabs King, and slowly lifts him to his feet, exposing that King has been busted open. The crowd cheers at this, and so do I for that matter.

Kelsey grabs King's arm, going for another whip, but before he can get a good grip, King nails him with a bloody headbutt out of nowhere. Kelsey is immediately stunned, King's blood now on his forehead. He takes a step backwards, as King almost falls over, but somehow he manages to stay up. King nails Kelsey with a right hand, then a left, then a right, before grabbing Kelsey, and sending him head first into the post himself. Kelsey's skull cracks against the post, before King once again, grabs Kelsey, and slams his already injured shoulder hard into it not once, not twice, but three times in succession.

Kelsey cries out in pain from the impact of his shoulder, as King is working that shoulder something fierce, preparing for his Empire Lock. If King were to apply that now, Kelsey might have no choice but to tap. King grabs Kelsey and nails him with a big knee to his gut, doubling him over, before grabbing him around the waist and lifting him up with a gutwrench, flipping him over, and putting him down right on the corner of the apron.

The crowd winces from the impact as Kelsey connects with the apron. King lets him go, and Kelsey just flops to the floor, crashing onto the concrete. Kelsey lays there, one foot moving. King stands over him, blood dripping off his face, and he begins to stomp mercilessly onto Kelsey over and over and over again. King isn't aiming for anything particular. He's hitting everything. His head, his shoulder, his back, his arm. King yells at Kelsey when he finishes, stepping away from him.

The crowd boos him, but King isn't paying attention to them. He's focused on Kelsey. He bends down, lifting him up. He pushes him back into the ring post, holding him there. He holds him there for a moment, and then yells out that he wants him to bleed. He rakes across his forehead with both hands, digging his fingernails into Kelsey's forehead. Kelsey instinctively pushes King away from him, but King just goes right back to it, trying to make him bleed with own two hands. Kelsey once again pushes him away. King turns, and then fires with a huge haymaker. Kelsey ducks, and King's fist smashes into the post.

King screams in pain as his hand slams into the post. He drops to one knee in pain, possibly having broken his hand with that blow. Kelsey stumbles away, trying to recover as King is in pain. Kelsey turns back toward King, a little blood forming on his forehead. Kelsey touches it, seeing King was successful in making him bleed, but then simply wipes it across his chest. King holds his hand in pain, trying to open and close it. He's able to, but you can tell it hurts. King turns back toward Kelsey, and Kelsey rushes him, tackling him to the ground.

Kelsey hammers King with right hands, forgetting for an instant that he's champion. He wants to hurt King, and the crowd is eating it up. He hammers him over and over again. He lifts his fist up again for another blow, but King brings his knees up, knocking him off of him. Kelsey scrambles back to his feet, turning, as King gets to his feet. Kelsey rushes him again, but King hammers him with his left hand. Kelsey drops backwards, from the blow.

King might be right handed, but he can use the left almost as good as his left it seems. This might very well be one of the most brutal fights we've ever seen in Peach State, and it's not over yet. King steps toward Kelsey, turning him around, but as soon as he does, Kelsey hammers him with a right hand. King stumbles backwards. Kelsey follows him, driving a knee into King's side. King stumbles, only being stopped by the ring apron. Kelsey hammers him with another right, then left, and King is once again stunned. Kelsey grabs King's head, and he sends him flying into the ring.

The crowd jumps to their feet as the action once again goes to the ring. Kelsey climbs in, standing on the outside of the ring. King starts to move, and Kelsey readies. King gets to his feet, his back turned toward Kelsey, and then Kelsey leaps up onto the top rope, springboarding in for a springboard clothesline, but King turns, catching Kelsey, and dropping down into the ring with an Empire Lock.

The pain on Kelsey's face is immediate as King pulls back on that injured shoulder. King screams yelling at him to give up, but does King not even realize that Reynolds isn't even in the ring. Kelsey is struggling, trying to figure out a way to escape from this move. He reaches up, trying to pry King's fingers loose from each other, to relieve the tension and give him a chance to escape.

He's able to, but King quickly repositions. Kelsey tries it again, and once again is able to pry King's fingers away from each other. This time, he immediately pulls his arm away, allowing his arm to escape. The crowd is on their feet again as Kelsey escapes, rolling away from King, who is utterly shocked at Kelsey escaping from his finisher.

King slowly gets to his feet, blood pouring down his face. He bends down, picking up one of the chairs that Reynolds threw into the ring, and for the first time, Reynolds seems to be interested in the match, as he stands up from his new chair.

King slams the chair down on the ground, waiting for Kelsey to get back to his feet. Kelsey staggers, wearing his own crimson mask now. He staggers, as King readies. Reynolds climbs to the apron, on the side of both of them, neither paying attention to him.

Kelsey turns around, and King swings!

Kelsey ducked it. King spins around. He turns, bringing the chair up, just as Kelsey leaps up, spinning in mid-air, catching the chair with a huge jumping spin kick, which slams right back into King's face. King collapses to the mat, the chair still on top of him, completely laid out.

Kelsey immediately gets back to his feet, seeing King laid out. He smiles, just as a chair crashes against his head.

I can't believe I'm saying this, because I'm in as much shock as the crowd is. Reynolds just leveled Kelsey with a chair. Reynolds stands over Kelsey holding the weapon. He raises it up again, slamming it into Kelsey's head again and again, before tossing it to one side.

The crowd is speechless. He drops down over Kelsey, yelling at him that he took everything. I don't know what he means...unless...

Oh my god...King didn't attack him.

It was Kelsey. Kelsey was the one that attacked him all this time.

Reynolds stood up. He looked at both people in the ring, and then he took off his referee's jersey, and threw it to Natalie. He said he was done, and he walked out of the ring.

The crowd doesn't know what to do. They don't know how to react. They don't know who to cheer for or who to hate. In a split second, their world was turned upside down.

And Nick King, not having a clue at what just happened, crawled over to Kelsey and collapses, draping his arm across him. Natalie looks around, knowing this match can't end without an ending. This match has to have a finish. She throws on the ref's jersey and slides into the ring. She rushes over and drops down.

One.

Two.

Thre--

No...Kelsey got a shoulder up. How in the hell did he get a shoulder up after the beating Reynolds gave him? King can't believe it. He stares at Natalie, not angry, just in disbelief. He rolls to his side, staring at Kelsey. He mutters something that I didn't hear, and slowly gets to his feet. He lifts Kelsey to his feet, but as soon as he does so, Kelsey nails King with an inside elbow. At any other time, the elbow would just stun him, but with what he has been through, King drops to the mat. Kelsey falls backwards into the ropes, his face a bloody mess, before making the walk over to King.

He bends down and starts to lift King to his feet, when King suddenly springs forward, turning his back toward Kelsey, grabbing his head and neck, and then dropping straight down with an ace crusher...no...forget that...it was the BadaBoom...he just did his old finisher. Kelsey drops backwards, his arms extended, not moving, as King drops on top of him, this time hooking the leg.

Three

I can't believe it. King did it again. He's the champion for a third time, but I don't know what we saw here tonight. Kelsey attacked Reynolds. It was him all along. Why did King say he did it? Why would he do something like that? Why would Kelsey attack Reynolds? I thought he was one of the good guys.

Natalie hands the title to King, who clutches it to his chest. He tries to stand, but immediately drops back to his knee, before dropping to his side. Both men are hurt. I don't know how bad, and after tonight...what Krinkle did...what Kelsey did...what Reynolds did...what King did...I don't know what is going to happen next.

That's not true, and I can't believe I've waited all night to tell you this, but now...it almost seems like it's just a small thing compared to the bigger picture of what is going on in Peach State Wrestling now.

No...this is huge for Peach State Wrestling, because on Saturday, July 14th...PSW will be leaving the comforts of Georgia. I told people to stock up on sunscreen, because we will be heading to beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where Peach State Wrestling will collide with the one and only Frontier Grappling Arts, as superstars from both feds will face each other in battle.

Peach State's newest recruit, Hawk Boy, will take on a FGA newcomer, Matt Shields.

"The People's Choice" August Joyce will take on Sean Fallon.

Kit Kelsey and Brute Svenson will team-up against two guys who are very similarly connected, Timmy Brown and Michael Tomkins, although I honestly don't know how Kelsey and Brute will function as a team, because I don't know if Brute knew anything about Kelsey's attack on Reynolds.

Our tag team champions, Johnny Royal and Dixie Leigh...The Dirty South, will take on FGA's hottest tag team, The Harvard Connection...as we have a true North versus South match-up here.

And finally, in the main event...it will be Champion versus Champion...as newly crowned champion, Nick King, will get a chance to put his self-entitled Franchise Player to the test, as he faces FGA Heavyweight Champion...

Blaine Harrison!

That's right, Blaine Harrison is also a member of the FGA, and he will walk into Myrtle Beach not as a member of the Peach State Wrestling roster, but representing the Frontier Grappling Arts. With nothing but pride on the line, these two, which have never faced each other in a one on one contest, should make for an excellent match.

It's hard to say it will be the biggest card in Peach State history, especially after tonight's results, but this is a show that could put Peach State in the limelight...could take them to the next level...and it will truly be a one of a kind night.

As on July 14th...

Peach State Wrestling

and

Frontier Grappling Arts

are set for a

COLLISION!!!
