Glenn Michaels: Ladies and gentlemen, fresh off the heels of one of the craziest Bottomline Pay Per Views in HOW history, the team from Peach State known as Ascended Supremacy managed to defeat Ground Zero for the HOW Tag Team Championships. I have managed to secure some time with the current Tag Team Champions, Jace Parker Davidson and Tara Michaels-Davidson. Thank you both for being here.
Tara Michaels-Davidson: You're quite lucky that we were able to even make the time for this interview. Now that we're the new HOW tag team champions, we've been in high demand all of the time, seems like everyone wants a piece of Ascended Supremacy.
Jace Parker Davidson: Our cell phones have been literally ringing off the hook here lately. Every single sports talk show or late night talk show wants to have us on to talk about how we went into HOW and defeated Ground Zero but as my wife said we're busy people so get on with the questions.
Glenn Michaels: You both managed to not only main event a HOW Pay Per View but managed to snag for yourselves and for Peach State Wrestling the HOW Tag Team Championships. Let's get the big question out of the way first, what are you going to do with the Tag Team Championships?
Tara Michaels-Davidson: Isn't that an obvious question? Obviously we're going to wear them with pride since they pretty much serve to remind everyone in HOW that we went out and did exactly what we said we were going to do. We certainly won't have any problems defending them should someone think they actually have a chance against us in the ring.
Jace Parker Davidson: Other than that there is a lot of things we can do with them, like maybe present them to Bobby Briggs or maybe we'll mail them to people like Kirsta Lewis and Electra. Honestly though I was thinking after Ground Zero tries coming after them again and we beat them that we just go ahead and retire the belts. I think that would be the ultimate fuck you to High Octane Wrestling, to have walked in, won the belts and then retired them.
Glenn Michaels: What are your personal thoughts and feelings about Townsend and Ward?
Tara Michaels-Davidson: God knows my feelings haven't changed about them in the slightest. They're still nothing more than two stupid little boys who got in way over their heads. Now they can sit there boohooing to each other that they've lost their championship belts.
Jace Parker Davidson: What happened at Bottomline just goes to show that we were right all along. Compared to Ascended Supremacy two men like Townsend and Ward can only hope to be the second best tag team in the world. We walked into their territory against all odds and now we have their Championship belts around our waists. I think maybe they should get together with John Sektor and re-evaluate their groups whole reason for being since they were defeated so easily.
Glenn Michaels: What thoughts were running through your head when you saw that HOW ICON Champion Mike Best ordered the match to be restarted and announced himself as the special guest referee?
Tara Michaels-Davidson: I was thinking this was HOW's way of trying to screw us over and ensure that their precious tag team championship belts didn't leave the building with us. However I knew for damn sure I wasn't about to run away scared because the odds were starting to shift against us now that we had the upper hand. It just goes to show that absolutely nothing can stop Ascended Supremacy when we have a goal set deep in our minds.
Jace Parker Davidson: I wasn't surprised at all actually but what I did find funny is that Ground Zero had no problems at all with those tactics. Weren't they the ones so worried about us cheating? Weren't they the ones that were against the Best Alliance and all the dirty tricks in our sport? For a group that preached nothing but pure wrestling they had no problem at all trying to double team Tara while I was handcuffed to a steel cage. However in the end even Mike Best couldn't stop us from walking away with the belts around our waists.
Glenn Michaels: There are those who say that you took advantage of the referees by laying your hands on several of them including Joel Hortega and Mike Best. What do you have to say to that?
Tara Michaels-Davidson: Nobody asked for them to get all up in our faces, now did they? We only had one goal in mind and that was to walk out of Bottomline with the championship belts in hand. So to us it didn't matter what we did to get there, the end result was all that counted.
Jace Parker Davidson: Hortega obviously couldn't do his job properly and keep control of the match, we told everyone that we were going to win at any costs. As far as Mike Best goes he came down and attacked us first, not to mention the attack after the match before the Best Alliance focused their attention on Ground Zero. I got handcuffed to a cage, so I think what happened to both Best and Hortega balances everything out perfectly.
Glenn Michaels: Earlier on in the show, Mike Best defeated Chris Jacobs, a former member of HOW and current member of Peach State Wrestling. First, did you watch the match? Second, were you intimidated by the outcome?
Tara Michaels-Davidson: We did watch the move, but we certainly weren't intimidated by the outcome. We have nothing against Chris Jacobs by any means, but that doesn't equal his talents to the ones of Ascended Supremacy. If Ground Zero thought we were going to be complete pushovers, we certainly took them by surprise in the end.
Jace Parker Davidson: I think Jacobs got exactly what he deserved especially after him and his Young Lions goons attacked us at Uprising but I did enjoy the beating that Mike Best gave him. Chris Jacobs will never be an ICON in this business or even Peach State Wrestling, you want to see what a real ICON is? Well you're interviewing two of them right now.
Glenn Michaels: Obviously, a rematch is undoubtedly coming. If a rematch is announced, do you expect it to be Ground Zero or do you expect the Best Family to name someone else?
Tara Michaels-Davidson: I wouldn't be surprised if it was against Ground Zero. I can see them start whining about having lost their championship belts, but then again, I've quickly learned not to trust anyone from the Best Family. They could throw completely random opponents at us on a whim. Either way we won't be handing over these belts to anybody.
Jace Parker Davidson: I hope it's against Ground Zero, I hope it's against the best that the Best Alliance has to offer. I hope it's against the Young Lions, I hope it's against Ethan Cavanaugh and his EBT card, I hope it's against Kirsta Lewis and her scorching case of Herpes, I hope it's against anyone and everyone that HOW can dig up. All in one match so that once again we'll prove once and for all that Ascended Supremacy is the best team in the world.
Glenn Michaels: Finally, Jace, per an agreement between HOW and Peach State Wrestling, current LSD Champion and Battledome winner Sean Maguire will be facing you. However, he will do it in a Peach State arena. What are your thoughts on Maguire and the match? And, will Tara be with you at ringside?
Tara Michaels-Davidson: I'm going to be dealing with my own match against the Peach State champion Kid Kaboom, but I certainly have no problems being there at ringside to support Jace if he wants me to be there.
Jace Parker Davidson: I'll let Maguire sit and wonder if Tara will be at ringside but honestly he's walking into my turf now and I can only hope. I can only pray really that by Fall Fight that Maguire grows a set and uses his title shot to win the HOW World Championship belt from Christopher America. Then I can take on Maguire, his Gypsie Kiss, and anything else he brings and beat the HOW World Champion right in the middle of the ring. Once again Ascended Supremacy will have made history and the change will be complete.
