Background: John Empires has been wrestling since he was 19, making him a 20+ year veteran. From every hell hole across the United States, to Europe, to Japan, to Australia. The only continent he has never wrestled in is Antarctica. He is an alcoholic, something that has cost him every relationship he's ever had, plus several jobs, however, at the moment, he is a recovering alcoholic, not having a drink in over a year. While he has held titles, he has never held any major championship. He did team with the only man who claims him as a friend, Lefty Muggins, to win the Acadian Wrestling Grand Prix Tag Team Tournament, but they never cashed in their tag team title shot with it. Likewise, he earned an Empire Championship shot during his tenure in the BACW, but left before cashing it in. You can see a pattern here. He's worked with PSW owner, Jody Wilson, previously, and agreed to join Peach State, however, he left to pursue other options, but returned after Matt Reynold's injury, and has returned to referee and training duties.
